Tranquil, Convenient Horse Boarding

We're excited to share that our facilities are under development and beginning in Summer 2025, Balance Equine will offer boarding.

Nestled on 20 beautiful mountain acres just 10 minutes from the town of Conifer, 20 minutes from Evergreen, and 40 minutes from downtown Denver, Balance Equine offers a peaceful retreat for horses and their people. Our small, private facility will welcome all disciplines in a low-key, relaxed environment.

Time with your horse should be peaceful. Our beautiful mountain setting offers a natural refuge where you can step away from life's demands and connect with your horse. Surrounded by pine trees and mountain views, our facility offers more than physical space. It provides a sanctuary where both horses and humans can take a deep breath. Here, you won't find the drama or competitive intensity that you might at other facilities – just the quiet rhythm of happy horses, the mountain air, and the space to enjoy your time with your horse at whatever pace feels right to you.

Care & Facilities

  • We live on-site and check on the horses multiple times per day.

  • Free choice access to high-quality grass hay, mineral blocks, and fresh drinking water.

  • Custom, comfortable log shelters.

  • Tack shed and tack-up area.

  • New 70' x 140' outdoor arena.

  • New 55' round pen.

  • Short trails throughout our peaceful mountain property.

  • Limited trailer storage available for an additional fee.

  • In the rare case of extreme cold weather, we’ll apply owner-supplied blankets.

Boarding Options

Private Runs – $600/month

  • Grain and supplements fed once daily (owner-provided).

  • Spacious and comfortable individual space, near other horses.

Group Pens – $500/month

  • Small groups of compatible horses, managed for low stress.

We are taking names for our waiting list now, and will accept deposits once we have a confirmed opening date.
